Theater is a form of art that using live performing as medium to deliver message and can be done in many ways such as anything such as acting, singing and dancing. Theater exist since the age of caveman. they will perform in front of the fire to demonstrate what they do and hunt that day. That was theater then and it still is theater now. Theater also a media form because in theater we can use to communicate with people. In modern world, since the era of Shakespeare, theater become the main entertainment for all kind of people,. from the royal to the common. they are many types of theater,Drama, Musical, Tragedy, Comedy and etc. each have their own way to communicate and act as a media form.
It also demonstrates a problem and a solution. In some cases, the solution is not overtly presented but the audience is left to figure out the solution itself. And the presentation of that problem is being done exactly as it was those thousands of years ago, by demonstration. Demonstrating a problem rather than narrating it resonates with human beings much greater than narrating it does, all because human beings are hard-wired, through evolution, to pay attention to theater.
